That's a concept, not an actual production GT trim Mustang. The real production model won't have more than 300hp.

I love my o3 also. But that is really growing on me. I gotta have at least one of those! have you guys seen the dashboard? Its like brushed alluminum. Really slick looking.

Just in time for the warrenty to go out on the 03 and the trade for the 05 will take place................

Steve B,
"That's a concept, not an actual production GT trim Mustang. The real production model won't have more than 300hp."
This is the same website that presented
Ford's "Terminator" concept car. It wasn't
believed to be be more than 340hp. by
most "expert".
Here are the concepts specifications

A GT will never get 400HP. I would kill Ford Market Share unless they offered it as a speical option or as a cobra

Yeah, Ford's going to put a $10k+ motor into a mid 20k GT. Ok...

And Ford never made a special edition or high out-put anything..hmmm. Don't get too upset about this concept thingy but I have seen stranger things come to fruition. I'm glad to see Ford think outside the box!
As far as cost, folks are throwing blowers/chips on GTs(400 reliable hp) for some time at a much less than $10k, just can't do much more hp without hardening the crank, rods, pistons after that. I think you assume it's a Cobra copy. I didn't get that out of the Concept reviews, understanding the current and future GT has been a moderate (hp) out-put car that is affordable. I agree if Ford made all the GTs like the Cobra they'd go broke.
One caveat, I'm driving an 03 Cobra that wasn't going to be built since it was $20K less than the Cobra R and could out-run the R.:)
