6/22.... should be a go. We are thinking about going to the MIlwaukee Mile on Saturday (6/21). I'll just have to have the car ready the go.

7/13... Chicagoland Nascar weekend and the first night time Cup and Nationwide race! I do no believe we will be in any condition to make Victor.

We are really thinking about going to Woodward Cruise this year in August. No details on their web site yet.

What about the Morris Cruise night for June 14th?

We could set a schedule for SVTOA and SCMC groups to run the same events this summer. The more the merrier, plus we will always have at lease two MUSTANGS show up.

1st Sun Toys for Tots car show - sponsored by Vintage Car & Rods Club - Carol Stream - in the Town Square Park on Gary Ave. just South of Lies Road 1.5 miles South of Army Trail Road. A new unwrapped toy and a $10 entry fee is required. There will be fod, music and a military presence at the show. Our own Sharon Holman is heading up this event for our club. Please make it a point to come out.

7th Sat 2007 Shelby - Cobra - Ford 6th Annual Show and Car Corral hosted by The Volo Auto Museum - 10 am to 3 pm - $20 / $30 show car registration fees ( pre- 1973 Fords only) General Admission is $10 - see web site for additional details and available parking 815-385-3644

22nd Sun Gears & Ears 31 - Kendall County Fairgrounds - Rt 71 & Rt 47 in Yorkville - pre-entry $15 admits one vehicle w/2 adults - $20 at the gate- registration 8 am to 1 pm


30th Sat Palatine 4th of July Parade - We will need classic Mustangs most of which should be convertibles. All parade cars will be meeting at 8:00 am at the Wood St. staging area in Palatine. Contact Gary Granzin at granz.4@comcast.com

4th Wed Niles 4th of July Parade - All Parade cars will be meeting between 7:30 and 8 am at Kappy's Restaurant on the Northeast corner of Dempster and Harlem Ave in Niles. We get $400 for this parade so we are looking for 20 cars to make a great appearance.
