Maybe Iam an idiot, Oh well, but what are the holes alondside the fog lights for, same size just empty. More lights?
Only had the car two weeks and it just seems odd, any takers on this one?

i'm not sure if they serve any purpose other than cosmetic, but they can be used to fabricate a front brake cooling duct work. i have read were some people are doing this and have even seen some threads were people have posted sites that sell the kit.

The holes showed up on the '99 valence in preparation for the '00 Cobra R. There is an FRPP "R" kit to duct cool air onto the front brakes. They can also be used for ram air kits or more fog lights, but their intended purpose is venting the brakes.

Two tips if you do the ram air. Put a piece of screen at the hole to keep the large stuff at bay. Also, get a washable air filter. The low hole tends to vacuum quite a bit of debri off the road and pack it onto the filter. If you live in a dusty area (like me :) ) you'll be cleaning it fairly often.

The JLP CAI uses the passenger side hole as an air intake; I sealed the filter housing to make it a ram air system. It has worked quite well.

I am looking for more lighting not brake cooling or sand for the filter sooooo. Has anyone heard of kit or process for installing a second set of fog lights in these extra holes?

Thanks for any information.

This is a great forum.:) :bna

As far as Fog Lamps I just got my car back from the dealer due to fog lamps filling up with major moisture, may be those holes are a marginal design error just my two cents.
