Knight Rider is using a GT500 KR. Confusing some what the KR stands for. It will always be "King of the Road"

Here's some Video's:

If you look at the captions on the pictures to the right of the Edmunds article, you will find the following photo caption:

"While the various KITTs may look like GT500KRs, they're actually regular GTs or have V6s under their skin. And except for one equipped with a supercharger, their power plants were left stock for the film work. (Photo by Scott Jacobs)"

Not a bad show, but will it survive?
My kids really liked it (14, 16, 21).

Kids will love it, but the acting was god-awful.

Hey, just like the original! :)

They even showed SVT on the center caps!

I thought it to be very distasteful to show the 2 girls being lesbians and the one guy having a 3 some, in the first 5 minutes of the show.
They could have skipped that and put more effort into the cars features.
Is Ford that hard-up for selling cars that they have to go to those extremes?

I don't think Ford had anything to do with the lesbians or the 3-some. It is just Hollywood being hard up for sales (ratings).

The way I understood it was Ford fronted the bill for the show.
