So i got some new 17 by 10.5 rims for the rear on my 94 but they hit my quad shocks. Now from my understanding they're there to help with the pinon angle. So my ? is are they still necessary if i've put on new upper and lower control arms with new bushings? thanks for the imput.

You can remove the quad shocks altogether, or simply 'reverse' them, so that the fat ends are not near the tires.
