Fairly new to Phx and looking for a good, reliable shop to work on my second child - my 04 vert. I learned the hard way in Atlanta who not to use. Other than a cat back and CAI, I want to have a functional roll bar installed and want a good, clean install and have it covered to look similar to a light bar. Sound plausable?

Like any speed shop there are the ones up front to avoid. The owner is not easy to deal with but he is seldom there. The guy on the dyno is a master at tuning. Very meticulous. Just hard to get through the yahoos in the front, but worth it once you get to the guys doing the work. Ask for Bill when you call...

If you are in the Scottsdale area give SVC Motorsports a call 480-998-8885

Not so much what happened there as I don't live in the area. But I frequent several forums where "Dan" posts and he is an arrogant piece of work. Always a smart assed comment and acts like he knows it all.

You would not believe the crap he has pulled in selling parts and parting out cars etc. etc.......

Just a jerk in general. And I'm not the only one who feels that way....

Thanks all for the advice. I checked out SVC and they seemed like a good group - they have a pretty pricey shop rate at $95/hour but seemed knowledgeable. I purchased a JLT intake from AMP performance and they have a pretty nice facility. It seemed like a lot of people trust them with some pretty nice rides - a lot of Saleens in there. One of my clients has a 97 getting a turbo put in his 5 Liter cammer (I guess 550 at the wheels with a supercharger was getting too boring for him so its time for 30 lbs from a turbo).
