I was on Woodward last Friday (7/6) with a friend and boy were there a lot of cars out. Anyway I ran into a guy with a 2003 Cobra vert that swapped out the Eaton for a Whipple. He said it was putting out 24# of boost and had to run Alcohol injection. He was putting out 620 RWHP!! :thud: Asked what other mods he had to do (other than a tune) and told me NONE! Nothing to the drive line, no sub frame connectors and nothing to the rear end. The only problem he has is wheel hop (don't we all). He did have a cai and Flowmaster mufflers.
His friends car club had a track day and he went out and made a 1/4 mile run in 11 sec flat (somewhere around 130 mph I think he said) on street tires. The track said no more because of no roll cage.
Now my question is how much of this is bs?
