Outside of welded subframe connectors, any suggestions on what upgrades/changes to the suspension are beneficial to the 01 Cobra ?
I see no point of adding anymore power until I have a suspension that will handle it.............

Maximum Motorsports makes some good parts for the IRS that will make it work alot better. I would go to their website and see what they have.

You can get urethane IRS bushings from Maximum Motorsports. Make a big difference in handling and significantly reduce wheel hop. I also like my 01' cobra slightly overdampened with Bilsteins shocks and struts. 1" drop looks good and reduces body roll. Then you need to replace the front and rear stabilizer bushings and end links, urethane again. I've also got the MM C/C plates but that is primarily for excess negative camber at the track.
You already mentioned the subframe connectors. Mine are Kenny Brown with the extreme matrix and jacking rails.
That's what I've got done to my suspension and my cobra handles great. Although it's a little rougher ride on the street than stock.

Maybe start with the last year terminator IRS, add braided brake lines, track brakes, and track tries.

Thanks for the suggestions. I found some great kits that include some of the mentioned items.

If you want to keep the IRS then MM is a great source. I pulled the IRS completely out of mine to replace all the bushings with poly...ctrl arms, sway bar, IRS mounts, diff mounts. Mine is a 99 with the 28 spline so I went with Raxle halfshafts and I have done as well as 1.6x 60 ft times on ET Streets and I can still keep that pesky silver Z06 behind me thru the turns on the road course
