I figured I would try to generate some conversation with some video segments of an ESPN airing of the IMSA SuperCar event at the Pike’s Peak Hill Climb in 1995. The captures are of my (I did not own it at the time) 1995 Cobra R, driven by Shane Lewis, competing in the event. At the time the car was essentially stock with the exception of the roll cage, fire system, and exhaust. For this race it was competing in the SuperCar series but it was only setup in Street Stock trim. To say it was running at a disadvantage would be an understatement.

Hey Todd,
What a ride. tmb: :tmb:
I really like to see people use these cars the way they were meant to be used. I have a friend here in the Kennewick, WA, who purchased a 95 Cobra R, I believe it's #27, anyway, he had the dealer push it off the transport and on to his car hauler, took it home to a climatized garage and it hasn't seen daylight since.:spank:

I don't race my SSSNAKE like you, but I do Drag Race and autocross form time to time.

I really enjoyed the movie clips and I saved your home page.

Remember, keep the shiny side up.

Curious where you bought your '95 Cobra R. I helped to relocate one from Brookline, NH to Washington State. I lost track of the buyer.

Thanks, Wayne
