Just Took Delivery Of 07 Shelby Gt500.......the Fastest Car I Have Ever Owned To This Point.

I Think I Saw A Posting That There Was A Power Upgrade Which Just Required The Replacing Of The Supercharger Pulley With A Smaller One.

1) How Much Extra Hp
2) Where Can I Get One
3) How Much

No I Dont Need More HP But If Its Out There.....Why Not.

I have a friend that has the evolution stage 3 package. He dyno'd at about 560 to the rear wheels. Using 15% estimated drivetrain loss puts him at about 650 at the crank. 150hp for less than 2 grand is pretty impressive.

If you go this route, you better plan to make supporting mods to the chassis, suspension, driveshaft, etc. to support the extra power and get better traction without wheel hop. So the cost you see of the power package is not your final cost.
