Are you wanting a true racing seat or one that you can use driving on the street?

No doubt, if you wanna do it, play the price...The Cobra Misano, with Carbon fiber back, billet aluminum (polished) and done in leather, 4-way harness ready. To the tune of 2800 bucks.(pair) I have the Cobra Dayona seats and they were a bit cheaper, finished in cloth with suede on wear points. But I have a thinner frame and they fit like a glove. None of the bracing a knee against door on corners and the like anymore. Keeping one's ass planted during spirited driving does make it more fun and allows pushing of the envelope in a much more confident fashion.

95 % track you will want spend the time looking for purpose built seat.

1. Try it out before you bye it. Only you will know what fits you best. A seat is like trying on a pair of shoes.
2. Look to have good side bolster support
3. Look for a light seat but quality
4. Strong mounting hardware ( not flimsy and wobbly) and adjustable.
5. Support for role cage connection to help stabilize the seat and secure you in the cockpit.
6. Seat belt and Hans compatibility.

these are just a few things. Sparco or Racraro is were i would start looking

On-track performace and racer bargins web sites are good place to start.

one more important feature - SFI Rating (fireproof) - Make sure it rated o resite fire and that goes for any seat that except inserts and the inserts as well.
