Gents I have a deal for you.
If an Admin would like I have received several items from Carroll Shelby and will give them to you if you can do me a favor.

Whoever gets these items please donate money to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The donation is not required but nothing means more to me than the support to the children of my fallen Brothers in Arms.

I have two large and two extra large shirts signed by Carroll. I met him through a friend named Dave Dempster formerly of Ford's SVT. Dave and I established a close relationship as I was builing my 2003 Mustang Cobra for SCCA Club and Autocross. Carroll's military background and the current situtation in Afghanistan and Iraq kind of afford me the chance to make the acquaintance of this, IMHO, great performance enthusiast.

While the shirts have another military foundation Charity on it, to preclude anyone thinking it is a scam I will provide a web link at the bottom to another place to donate to a great cause. To donate to the other foundation a check would have to be sent to me and I don't feel comfy trying to get you guys to do this.

I am a senior Special Operations NCO at Fort Campbell, KY. I am assigned to 5th Special Forces Group and just returned from Iraq. My wife told me that Mr. Shelby sent the items we were discussing while I was in Iraq, plus he sent a 1:18 scale die-cast metal Shelby Cobra 427, he signed the hood! I have the great pleasure of being invited to the Shelby Automobiles shop in Vegas. He says no cameras please. I'll be there this summer.

Anyway if you guys are interested please have someone from the web site contact me at dale.marlow@us.army.mil or 910-261-5783 (I kept my Fort Bragg Cell).

My wife made the highest bid when she had the scale car auctioned off, it is mine now! Who says wive's are only good for putting air in the tires?

Gents, if you need charachter references please talk with the Admins of svtperformance.com (Lightning Larry or Sid297).

My digital camera finally dies, if someone wants to take these on faith just e-mail me your address and I'll ship them to you. I offered them to the Shelby Cobra site but no one contacted me. Once SVTOA has them they are your property to do as you wishe, again I just ask you all consider the following dontaion:
