Just got my SVTOA membership package. Inserted in the package was a brochure for Heacock Car Insurance. Any comments on this insurance company would be helpful. They offer special deals for SVTOA members. The quote I got was pretty good plus a stated value of $65,000 was included.

I have used www.ParishHeacock.com before on my classic cars and all my new Cobra's. Just not my latest ....I might go to Grundy....they insure for agreed upon price also and it is cheaper than Heacock. Heacock cannot insure in New Jersey now..but are trying to get another company to do it.

I use Hagerty Insurance for my 05 Mustang GT and 07 GT500. 100/300/100 with uninsured motorists, deductible of 250 comp and coll. GT insured for 30K and GT500 insured for 70K is $2311 annually. You insure for an agreed value between you and the company. I am also a broker for Hagerty and got to experiance their claim service after Hurrican Katrina. They were very quick in claim response and checks for the agreed value were issued. A few of my customers bought the car back from the insurance company. Car must be stored in a locked garage. I think most collector cars companies require this. www.hagerty.com
