I am new here, but do post on svtperformance, and a few other boards. I wanted to get some feedback from members here on the possible production of deep dish 03 Cobra wheels.

I contacted a local wheel manufacturer about producing these, and they contacted me back about the deep dish 03 Cobra wheels. He wanted to get a feel for what sizes everyone wants. They are only going to make 2 sizes to start with, and that is what the poll is for. This is what they asked me:

Hi,
Could you post something out there that would check and see what combination people would like:
17x8.5 / 17x10.5
17x9 / 17x10.5
17x9 / 17x11
18x9 / 18x10
18x9 / 18x11
I would probably only do 2 sizes to start.

I want the 17"x9" / 17"x11" and 18"x9" / 18" x 11" wheels produced. Please vote so we can get a majority vote

As I have noted on SVTP. If they make the rears with the correct offset so as not to have to modify the IRS bolts or having to run spacers I want a set. 17 x 10.5.

I have posted this on a few more boards to get maximum exposure for the best feedback possible :)

I believe that is the design goal, direct fit to the IRS.

I truly hope so. I would love to have the fenderwell filled in look with out chopping up the IRS. Just looking at the teaser photoshop pictures somone did on SVTP really made my mouth water.

I could use a set of deep dish 07' GT500 wheels in 18x11". The largest out there is 18x9.5",and that won't fit the size tires I want.

OK, can someone please take a measurement of this:

This measurement is needed by the Wheel manufacturer, and I thought someone here might know it, or be able to get it quicker than myself....

Thanks,

Doug

I talked with that company wanting to make them. It is a cost issue.
They need to have 400 sets presold in order to afford having them made.
I offered to buy 6 sets (front & rears) if they started them, but they're still short.

It could not have been the same company. The company I am working with on these are about to have the mold made, and samples manufactured. Believe me, they would not be doing that if they were not going to produce them.
