Wow, finally someone posts again in the 93 Cobra section.... Been a long time...
It used to be you contacted SVT gave them your VIN and they'd give you the details. Build number, Build Date and a free certificate of authenticity. Unfortunately, those days are over. Last year, you could still get this info, but you paid for the cert, 40 for non SVTOA members and 30 for members. I just looked on the SVT site, and there's no longer contact info.
So, that route may not work. But you could still try Bob Lyon's of SCOA. SCOA for those who aren't aware, is the SVT Cobra Owner's Assocation. A group that has been running since the 93 Cobra's ran down the production line. They've got tons of info on our 93's and other years for that matter. Personally, I feel SVTOA stole a lot of it's original thunder from SCOA. They can be found at www.scoa.org, I can't find his email address but you should be able to reach him via the site.
Another choice would be to check out a newer 93 Cobra registry. On http://www.1993cobra.com/registry.htm you may get lucky and find information about your car there.
Lastly, there used to be a third generation mustang site. For a fee the site would provide build information on your car. But I can't find this info any longer. I'll update my post if I find it.

thanks for the help! mine is a black w/ cloth, 5700 miles, motor is bone stock, its got a vortex a trim on it 10-11 lbs of boost, snow performance,and jms tune to the note of 420 rwhp 469 tq . and the other basic stuff msd, headers ,you know!
its in great shape now time to put money in it to make show room clean ! the foam in the drivers seat is shot ,fabric is fine, padding shot .
need new vents the fins are shot ! molding is gone aroung the doors,its stating to rattle. just some nick nack stuff i need to do.
oooh yea got to have some buffing,wetsand,paint,something small children& bikes around it, BAD COMBO
