You are not alone.
We've all been waiting to learn the fate of SVTOA, and coupled with being tied-up with the Holidays, site activity has expectedly dropped-off.
I suspect those of us in the North have also been spending time prepping and putting our SVTs away for the Winter (although I have the snow tires on the SVT Contour, ready for whatever Mother Nature is ready to dish out).

So any of you guys know about this problem:
My shifter is in 2nd gear....there is tons of play in it....the clutch still has firmness...is it
Fork? Shift Tower Bolt? Cable of some sort?
It was sweet I was pulling away from a stoplight shifted into 2nd and then nothing....no firmness in the shifter at all
