Looking for some insight on ( lower )gear selection for my 07 gt-cs w/ a auto , looking hard @ 4 :10 's . . . Maybe 3:73 's . . . Will also be doing cat-back , cold air & under-driven pulleys :spinem:

With your automatic, I would recommend 4.10's if you plan on staying naturally aspirated. If you plan to go the supercharger or blower route, I would strongly recommend going with the 3.73's. My 05 Mustang puts down 600 rwhp now and I have run the 3.73's for a long time now. I tried 4.10's once and the following day switched back to the 3.73's.

Thanks Red Baron , I'll be staying naturally asperated & think that auto will be a kick w/ the 4:10 's . . . My concern is cruze RPM @ 65 to 75 mph . . . This car did come w/ 18" wheels . . . If my math is right ; I'll be 23 . 86 % lower ; 3:73's would be 12 . 68 % ; To bad theres nothing in between... Sold , but when I had my 01 cobra vert it had 3:27's & went to 3:73's (14 . 06%) lower / WOW !!! My 04 Cobra vert needs NO gear change !!! Just other stuff ( about 440 hp ). . . So may I ask , when you deciding to Go back to 3:73's ; was it rpm or to much spin ?
