As I sit here in the San Jose, CA airport en route Dallas/Ft Worth/Norfolk, VA and home, I have just finished reading the last several days' posts missed during the Christmas holidays. Wow...a Mini Cooper??? This has to be one of the most depressing posts in the last few days. Obviously, Dennis, you're kidding!!! Sounds like you need several good meals to overcome your depression in putting your Cobra to bed or, you need to move to a better weather location. Hope it all works out for you. if you want a small car, get an svt focus. abiut the same price as the cooperS, but with much better looks and an aftermarket that is starting to provide. In a few months us svt focus people will have 3 superchargers to choose from and we already have a complete turbo kit that will provide close to 300whp wth a bigger exhaust on 100octane. Figure you pay 18000for the car, 6000 for the turbo kit, dyno tuning, and the trip to north carolina (have to take it to the shop to have them tune it) and you are competitive with the non-supercharged cobras.

Or, you can get a beater pickup and run it to the ground. A plus side to the beater is you can say things like "that is not an oil leak, that is just sweat from all the horsepower!"
