Hi, my name is Don and I've had my 2001 Lightning for about a year and a half now. I joined SVTOA shortly after I purchased it and for some reason I'm just now getting around to this site. I am a member on NLOC.net and SVTPerformance.com so some of you might recognize me. I really didn't notice an intro forum so I thought I would just drop this here. If I posted this in the wrong section, I apologize. Originally I planned to keep it original when I first got it and like most everyone else I wasn't able to do that. Before I bought it I had a 1995 Mustang GT and my time for it became shorter day by day. I sold the car 4 months after having the Lightning because I wasn't able to give the attention that the car needed. Here's a few pics of the Lightning and I hope to make some more friends here and be more active. Thanks.

Hi Don, nice looking truck. I see you were on the dyno and at the track, what kind of numbers did you pull at each? :spinem:

I suppose I should've looked at your profile first. :thud:

Any mods done on the truck?

I'm sorry, even though it's in my profile I meant to put that in my intro as well. The dyno if I remember correctly was 385hp and 487tq with a 4lp lower pulley, TR6 plugs, K&N replacement filter and a DiabloSport Predator Tuner with a dyno tune. We opened the air box for fun and I think it pulled 390hp and 491tq. The only time I've been able to run the truck at the track was at the Midnight drags during the summer and the best I got was a 13.22 @ 104. Unfortunately they don't give out slips at the midnights so I don't know what the 60ft and 1000ft times are. There really isn't much more performance wise done to it yet other than the Ford Racing Lightning Lowering Kit if you can even count that. I still plan to get a full exhaust, probably a cold air and maybe even a 6lb lower pulley. It's still up in the air though.
