Back in the good old SVT days, you waited until the end of the year's prodution run and then called SVT.

Yeah, back in the day a simple call to SVT would do the trick............ But now ;your guess is as good as anyone else's. Hey maybe call , no they don't exist

Ya I got one to Red With White strips. I called SVT and they told me that I had to wait untill the end of the run in May.
Then call back. We'll just have to wait and see.
From what I hear dosent look good.
Ran cars in with the rest of the other mustangs. They even gave us CRAPPY floor mats. I also called Ford customer service. Now that is a waste of phone time. They had no clue as to what I was saying. On the other hand we have some realy cool wheels to cruse in. :hrs: :bna :knock: :knock: :beer:

I got my Red loaded 2007 GT500 in Oct 06. I was told that the last 4 numbers of the vin number is the production number. Mine is 0540

My understanding is that the VIN number represents the factory production number, but not the SVT Build Number.

My '03 Cobra VIN is 00745, while my SVT Build Number is 709.

VIN on current Mustangs is all cars coming from AAI plant including Mazda6

There were 50 Consecutive Shelby VIN's but that does not mean they were built in order and in fact were not. (have records for all 50)

There is usually a window by month(s) of VIN's but no special order.

In other words mustang VIN last 6 200000 was probably a late July or august build. cars being built now are 300000 numbers although there were/are 290000 numbers built in January too.
