Laura and her crew do a GREAT job with this event... and as a driver, you OWE it to yourself to make the trip up to Shannonville. That's because, over the course of two days, we drive FOUR (4...cuatro...quatre...vier...quattro) DIFFERENT track configurations!
Don't worry if you've never attended a "performance driving school", as we'll have multiple classroom sessions for all the beginner and novice students and plent of talented in-car instructors to help you put it all together out on track.
And it's hard to beat that Canadian hospitality! :allhail:
Hope to see LOTS of you at this event. :tmb:

Re: 5th Annual Redline Rendezvous On-Track
Another outstanding event with Redline Rendezvous. I was out on the Sunday and in talking to people there, everyone had a great time. The weather was very cooperative and held off til today, so there was nothing but sunshine and a bit of a cooling breeze. Lot's of participants and four (!) run groups ensured that the track wasn't flooded with cars (and the odd Lightning) tripping over each other, and the groups were sent on a regular, even basis, so everyone got a fair shake at track time.
Looking forward to another outstanding event next year (the 6th Annual)!

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made this event possible... the sponsors, the students, the Intermediate and Advanced drivers, all the volunteers, all our hard-working in-car instructors and of course, the ultra-organized and always energized Laura Q!! What an AWESOME event! And whoever was in charge of the weather... WOW!! Get them signed up for next year!
A special call-out to Dell Hughes, who personally delivered (hauled) the helmets, radios and my classroom materials ALL the way to Shannonville from Oklahoma City, OK...USA! Dell... you're an animal... a TRUE Track Dawg if there ever was one!
This event was the perfect blend of track time, learning, classroom time, and of course, spending a weekend with some great enthusiasts, and FRIENDS! I just wish I could hang with all y'all more than once a year!
Also, I personally want to thank Ted Hogan of Dixie Ford for his hospitality, picking me up at the airport and making sure I had a decent rental car for the event. Thanks Ted!!
Again, I've said it before...it's hard to beat that great Canadian hospitality and enthusiasm for SVT products...and I'm proud to have been a part of this event. And I sincerely hope to be a part of your event next year if'n y'all want me...
Drive on... and see you on track! :bna

Was an awesome event.
The best OnTrack experience I have had thus far!
A big thanks to Laura and her crew for getting things put together, to all the instructors who hung on for dear life in their students cars, to all the volunteers who helped getting things going and to everyone else who was there.
I just have one request for next time we are at Shannonville... when there is nice weather, can we have the classroom/drivers meeting, outside? Or how about some warning about the 3 storey hike first thing in the morning. :D

No kidding about those stairs. Kind of hard first thing in the morning.
The weather was perfect so outside would have been fine with me.
Now if we can get them to repave the track it would be perfect.

Thanks Jeff, but one correction. I came from Broken Arrow, OK, that is on the east and nicer side of the state of Oklahoma. Made the trip 100 miles shorter also.
Thanks to Laura and here great group of volunteers for making this event the fun it was. Lou did a fantastic job doing Tech, even though he was pressed into it at the last min. Who we can not forget Richard, no matter how hard we try. Great job everyone.
