Trying to rally support for a new track in Oak Ridge. 3.7 miles proposed.
Email to local paper, planning commission and Chamber of Commerce would help.

The last month has confirmed that East Tennessee does indeed harbor strong support for a motorsports facility in Oak Ridge. Your words have made a very positive impact on this initiative. I have read them all and responded to many.
The decision on the future of this initiative is still being taken seriously at all levels. We have a very real chance at this incredible facility becoming reality. That is why it is important that I ask that a second wave of words be sent to info@eteconline.org to impress on the East Tennessee Economic Council your support. You might want to copy the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce at hardy@orcc.org . We all know that area businesses will enjoy the exposure that comes from major events and television coverage.
Contacting local newspapers at info@oakridgeobserver.com and editor@oakridger.com is also a good idea. (Stan Mitchell is editor).
I encourage you to pass this e-mail forward to other motorsports enthusiasts and make sure we are heard loud and clear.
