FR500 Parts for 03 Cobras?

Anyone know if or when Ford Racing
will make some FR500 stuff avaiable for
our 03 Cobras? More specifically exhaust
system? Headers? If Ford/SVT goes
with a naturally aspirated 5.0 from the 4.6
Hmm. Lots of options I know are out there
just not too friendly for the Ca cars.:D

FR500 parts are already available. I have the FR500 cat-back on mine right now :D. The FR500 headers weren't all that much different than FRPP shorties (I think), and those already fit the '03. All the modular based headers, in fact, will fit. The only difference is that the '03 head has a slightly larger exhaust port. But I'd bet the difference in power a matching header would gain can't be measured with boost under 20 psi or combinations under 600 rwhp.

I don't know about the heads. I haven't heard if they've come available yet.

Hmm.

I hope they don't go N/A. That'd mean they will probably opt to make power with higher compression and that probably means they'll go back to hyeutectic components. That's be a step backwards in my opinion.
