I have been toying with the idea of painting my 99 cobra in the 04 mystichrome color. I was going to do it 2 years ago and then things came up so i had to put it on hold. The place i was going to use is no longer there. I cant find a place that wants to do it. Do you know of any place i can get it done??
Or
im now thinking of possibly selling my 99 cobra and just buying an 04 cobra in mystichrome color.
what is better, paint mine or just trade it in on a new one??
Changing color is a big job as you well know, and is it worth the hassle?
I have an 03 Cobra and just love it and I think you will love the 04, but can you find an 04 Mystic?? Is your 99 paid for and what is the trade in value?
If your 99 is paid for do you want to keep it and buy an 04 too?
Hmmm 2 Cobras!!! Sounds like a lot of fun to me!! :bna

I have been able to find quite a few 04 cobras in mystichrome on the web located around the US. I was actually surprised!! Now that i know they are there, thats what made me think about it.
My 99 is paid in full-has been for about a year or so now. Im refinancing my house now and am going to pay off the other car and get some cash. I would probably either sell or trade in my 99. I believe its worth anywhere from 9-13K from what ive seen out there. we have 3 cars already and the cobra is the one i leave parked a lot, thats why i would use its value as part of the down on the newer one.
Makes sense to me.
Hows Phoenix? Besides hot. :fryem: :hbomb: I was out there this past Easter.
My brother just moved from Scottsdale to Prescott.

Phoenix is just hot.
really starting to heat up now. its 10 am and its 89 outside already.
My dad moved from CA to prescott a few years back. a lot cooler up there.
Well it's finally going to get hot here today, they are saying 85 and high humidity.
Of course being surrounded by the Great Lakes we have high humidity all the time.
Some times you gotta love the Desert.
Did you decide on what you are going to do with the Cobra?
I know this much stay away from the Ford dealer in Scottsdale on Frank Lloyd Wright and just past the 101 by a mile or so. They screwed up a simple oil change on my Cobra when I was there. They brought it out with oil dripping off of my fender (drivers side) and when I drove back to my brothers house (in Scottsdale) I decided to check the oil and it was so low it did not touch the dip stick. I took it back to them and made them figure out what was wrong, then and I had to tell them what it was. They are a SVT dealer and did not know that my car took more than 5 qts of oil. They said "sorry" and offered no comp for my troubles. I'll never go there again when I drive back out.
