Found a decent sounding deal on a 2004 SVT Focus.
Car seems to run well.
Issues I have found:
Has a little shudder on clutch take up :eek:
How much for a new clutch?
Hear some kind of vibration noise under decelration, as in perhaps heatshield rattling?? Disappears if you put the clutch in.
Some valve clatter under hard acceleration. Did somebody just fill up with regular gas?
Needs a set of tires. Should I stick the conti stockers or is there a better less expensive longer lasting alternative.
This car has 15,700 miles and the tires are pretty much done. :wow:
There is no cover on the cams, and one of the pulleys is red billet with some writing on it. Is it stock? If not does that void the warranty? :huh:
Other than a few pock marks from a the recent hail storms this seems like a good deal. Lets just say under 13K, well under.
