My friend who works in the office at the Mustang plant and tells me that this is the latest rumor about the Shelby G.T 500. "With all the hype and projected sales of the New Shelby they are considering bringing out for 2009 a "Shelby GT 500 KR" (limited run) and the 500 will stand for it's HP". :jawdrop: For all we know they could call it a "King Cobra".

Who knows. They have 2 years to tease us with it.
Maybe they will replace the GT 500 with this one.

I thought it was 450 HP. I guess he and I are a little behind oh well.
Rumors it gives you something to talk about. Normally I don't spread them, but this was to good to pass up.

Ford has issued an official release at 500HP. There's a link to it elsewhere on the board. No rumor on this one.

July R&T mag says 500 and they say that after the initial price gouge, you will be able to get yours.
