Knew I shouldn't get the freakin motor wet. :spank: Plugs, wires, coils/connectors all dry and it's driven 85 miles over the past week and it still misses bad. Anyone have this problem in the past?

I sprayed my motor once carefully after using a degreaser, trying to miss the coil packs and alt. Didn't have any kind of problem. Are you sure all the wires are tight?
How soaked did the packs and alt get? Are all the vacuum connections ok?

This is a 4v motor, could water have gotten down into the plug and coil packs in the head??

It was the last thing I checked :knock:
Moisture inside the #1 plug boot. Dried and lubricated boots with WA-10, no more miss. Think the #1 boot was not seated properly allowing some water to get down to the plug and the steam caused the intermittent problem. Ran fine cold, then would start to miss, then would get better the hotter the engine got.
