I've been told that I need to monitor my oil pressure/temperature and water temp better than the stock gauge does. Who knew?
Seriously, it's way past time for these gauges. I know I need oil pressure gauge (Mustang oil pressure sending unit is just an on/off switch. When the pressure reaches 6 psi, the switch goes on and the oil pressure gauge goes from zero to mid-scale) and an oil temp gauge (As long as the oil does not get above 260dF you oil is just fine. For oil temperatures above 265dF you want to be using an oil with an HTHS number in the 3.6 range). And I guess at the time I should add a coolant temp gauge, but I'm not sure about this.
Anybody have any suggestions for a '98 that's tracked as much as street driven? Guess I'd prefer a set of pods on the windshield post as opposed to replacing the radio.
