Recalls, Service Bulletins, etc.

:confused: Since this is my first SVT, will we hear 'offically' about any re-calls or significant service issues on this board...perhaps directly from the Ford SVT folks? I realize for re-calls we get a direct mailing from Ford but what about other significant service issues?

that would be nice, but I think by law when a recall occurs it has to be announced to the general public all at once. Now if we could get advance notice (ie a good rumor from a reliable source) that would help us in preparing to take our cars in for service so at least it wouldn't come as a surprise. I'd just be happy if someone from SVT would come here to talk to us more.

no we find out when the general public does... they should tell us through a certain medium (Cough message board) before it is out to the public... that way the people who actually use the board get a benefit.. and it could be a good way to drum up some more membership ***nudge nudge***
