Are their certain things you need to do when storing a car for the winter? I've never done anything special other than keep a full tank of gas and try and take it for a ride every couple of weeks.
Thanks

- change out the engine oil (get rid of the crud)
- change out coolant (get rid of the crud)
- inflate tire to max pressure (helps minimize the flat spots)
- gas starts going bad pretty quick (becomes varnish) - add gas-stor/sta-bil or some other fuel stabilizer additive.
- disconnect/remove battery and put it on a trickle charger/occasional charge to keep battery charged up.
- as you said, drive it every now and again to circulate fluids, tire, etc - and so you don't start suffering from withdrawals.
:D
lot's of different opinions around...

I think there was a discussion on this in the Gen 2 Lightning forum. 99-02 Lightnings that is.
