Looks like he finally got his front wheels off the ground. :p
But I do feel sorry for him. Know how I'd feel if it was me.

Picture if you will the scene after that guy got home....
"Uh.... Dad?? Remember how I said I was planning on taking my Neon to the drag strip tonight?"
"Yes son. How did it run?"
"Well.... I had some friends... girls actually... who were supposed to meet me up at the track tonight, and... well... I took your Z06 instead."
"You did what??"
"Well... I figured it would be cool to show them the Z06 and all...."
"Oh. So.... wait a minute... why is there a tow truck in the driveway??"
:knock: :knock: :thud: :thud:

Looks to me like that young man's dad didn't teach him either.

Hahahaha, that's funny, but not really. I wonder who taught him how to launch off the line? He must have gotten his driving tips from this guy I went to high school with. This guy had a turbo Eagle Talon and modified it to where it was putting out like 300fwhp. However, whenever we'd all go to the track he'd run his car and he'd run like 16-17second 1/4 miles 'cause he couldn't drive to save his life.

With thrice yearly trips to the drags with some Corvette clubs in South Louisiana, I did a few vettes w/ the Lightning. A lot has to do with reaction time and if that Vette driver misses a shift, it's an engine overrev shutdown! Love the Lightning, but the new Z06's are FASt, make no mistake!

lesson learned: Z06's do not belong on dragstrips!
