Thanks Laura.
We hope a few more Lightnings show up than last year. We are expecting a lot of R/T's and few that really sizzle ;-)

What is wrong with a little competition amongst automotive enthusiasts.

There's nothing wrong with competition amongst auto-manufacturers! I just wanted to express my displeasure with "Chrysler/Doge/Plymouth", as it used to be known. Once upon a time I was a Mopar fan. :frn: The US Federal gov't bailed them out, Lee I. reinvented them and made them a viable company and now they are a GERMAN company! Comparing and competing American Trucks would be one thing.... I am equally unhappy about Mazdas now being "Ford Family." I am a little bit "old school." And since this is a SVT (Ford) sight, I thought I would take a cheap shot @ "Chrysler" and its fans... (I have lost respect for that company and its "selling out" and lack of innovation. (eg the "Charger" attempt followed by the more retro (Fords idea) Challenger. The R/T and SRT ideas are little more than German Mopar spin-offs from FORD! :barfy:
I hope you understand that this is NOT a slam against you or your regions activities!

Hmmm tough words there....
Anyways not going to touch the above....
I'm here to promote a fun event. :tmb:
Last year only 6 Lightnings dare to try and take on our poor DODGE R/T's.
Must have been afraid :wtf:
Hopefully a few more will venture out this year. This is open to ALL Ford & Dodge trucks by the way not just the Lightnings & R/T's.

I'm curious, what all do you have to do to make an R/T outrun a lightning? I mean a big lazy V8 with only 250 hp and 350 tq....seems lacking.

If I had a Lightning or even a 'regular' F150 I'd be there for some MOPAR MADNESS. :hbomb:

Okay guys tomorrow's the day and the forecast is 0% chance of rain! It will be cool there tomorrow so bring a jacket.
Look forward to meeting some of you from here!
My truck may or may not be there as it is still not ready and Redline is frantically continuing the effort to get it done in time.
Either way I am there.
Please feel free to gather around the group of R/T's that will be there as that is the central spot for the organization of the event. Come and introduce yourself to us!
