As fas as I can tell, CDC does not sell the skirts separately. Roush is expensive, I can't find a pair of theirs for under $300. ABC Exclusive has them in urethane but they are $275 shipped. That's just a little more than I want to pay right now. -jason

I had the same problem when I put my side exhaust in. I just ended up having the body shop modify my existing skirts.... here's what it looks like

Get yourself a current copy of Muscle Mustangs and check out the vendors many which have web sites.

My room mate has a subscription and I look through them and 5.0 Mustang often. ABC is about the only vendor that is currently selling just the skirts, but I do not want to pay $275 for them (although that does include S&H). I was hoping to find someone selling a pair. Thanks! -jason

Spin Tech mufflers also makes a side-exit exhaust kit that does not require the use of side skirts... just comes out ahead of the rear tires with the oval exit pipes.

I believe Bassanni also makes a side exit exhaust system that doesn't require the use of skid skirts.

You could also do the CDC kit and not use their side skirts...

Lots of options really... but, be aware, if you have subframe connectors you may have some ground clearance issues where the exit pipes make their way from the muffler to the side of the car. This is where the Spin Tech system may have an advantage. They are now building "stepped" subframe connectors that provide for more side-pipe clearance.

I too am looking to install a set of side exits on my track car, but I already have HP Motorsport subframe connecters SOLIDLY welded to my subframes.

Good luck... keep us posted as to what you finally end up doing.

I have the Spintech side exhaust already - I have not installed in yet, though. I am looking for the side skirts that the pipes exit through. Thanks, though! -jason

I have the SVO sideskirts that come with the Borla side exhaust kit. I've got no use for 'em so send me an email. s2841@yahoo.com
