Some version of a Top Gear is supposed to come to the US. I think rumours are flying around who will do it.

That could be cool, as long as it either used the same chaps on the British show, or had the same kind of interplay they had. I think I'd rather just watch the Brits (keep in the American bashing!). We don't need another Car & Driver TV (not that it's bad, just not worth duplicating).

Oh...I just surfed onto this:

Seems a few people actually downloaded the entire clip for it. I wonder if SVT might want to know that the GT drinks a bit of gas :)

Those limeys are great! Yeah, if you have one of those super cars over there, you never need leave your chateau, anyway. Lots of open road there.
Besides, I have it on good authority THEY are jealous of our national 65 MPH speed limits, grande lattes, and 8 cup holders in 4 passenger cars......or not.

I managed to get the full episode. It turns out they were also testing the new Focus ST in Europe.
GRRR...I wish the people over here would crave the demand for it. I'm still not a fan of the Volvo C30's exterior...but I'd gladly take the ST.
