'93 Lightning 1/4 mile (stock)

Back in '98 I bought a '93 Lightning w/ a non-functional ram-air hood, rollpan, bed cover, and rear wing. The motor was bone stock and I ran a 15.02. I forget the MPH. I thought that was pretty impressive considering my friend had a '95 Lightning w/ functional ram-air, pulleys, exhaust, power chip and shift kit and his best was a 14.95 ET.

A 15.02 is very good for a stock Gen 1. I just bought a 94 in April with 61,000 miles and it only has the K&N filter (stock housing) and took it straight to the 1/8th mile strip and ran a best of 9.88 (stock tires) at 71 MPH. I think that converts to roughly a 15.50 1/4 mile. All the car magazines I have read show them running 15.40's or 15.50's when new. I just love this truck!
