Need a part for 98 Countour SVT Trans

I am in need of a part for the 98 Contour Manual Trans, I think the trans is MTX75, anyway it is the part that bolts on to the top of the trans and the shift cables connect to it. The dealership is trying to tell me that it comes apart, but the counterweight broke off and it looks like it's welded on. If anyone has this please let me know!

That's the shifter tower. source one from a 01+ cougar transmission. Otherwise a factory Contour one runs you ~600 bucks. The cougar ones from Ford cost ~300 IIRC. Previously, you could have used the Focus one, but a change in parts won't allow it to work.
