The Delaware Valley Chapter has re-scheduled our road rally / picnic from Sunday, July 17th to Sunday, July 24th. We will be meeting at Quakerbridge Mall (Route 1 and Quakerbridge Road, Lawrenceville, NJ) at 10AM Sunday, July 24th in the north parking lot, on the J.C. Penny's end of the building. Look for my black 2001 Cobra.
Directions:
From Philadelphia:
Take 95 north to 295, (same road, only the signs will change). Continue on 295 south until Exit 67. Proceed on Route One North about 1/2 mile, the mall will be on your right.
From North Jersey:
Take NJ Turnpike to Exit 9. Follow signs for Route 18/Route 1 and continue on Route 18 until it connects with Route 1 south. Quaker Bridge Mall is approximately 35 miles south on Route 1.
From Central Jersey:
Take 206 south straight into Princeton. At the intersection of Nassau Street will be the Princeton Borough Municipal Complex on the right. At the traffic light at the "T", make a left turn onto Nassau Street, and go straight to the 2nd traffic light, and make a right onto University Place. The road curves and becomes Alexander Road. Keep going straight until you reach Route 1. Make a right turn and follow south for approximately 3 1/2 miles. Quaker Bridge Mall will be on the left.
From East Jersey
(Freehold, Red Bank, Eatontown)
Take Route 33 West to Route 571 in Highstown. Follow Route 571 about 7 miles to traffic light, (West Windsor Plainsboro High School will be on the left), make a left onto Clarksville Road. Clarksville Road will lead you directly to Quaker Bridge Mall.
From South Jersey
(Cherry Hill,.Burlington, Mount Holly)
Take Route 295 north to Exit 67. Follow Route 1 north about 1/2 mile. Quaker Bridge Mall will be on the right.
Everyone should bring the following items:
a navigator (friend, relative, etc.)
clip board
note paper
pen(s)
area map(s)
cell phone with charger

We'll have the drivers meeting where Jamie will explain the rally, hand out instructions, etc. and we'll start around 10:30AM.
As for the picnic, people should R.S.V.P. to Jamie by Thursday, July 21st, 3PM so that I can get enough food for everyone. (Burgers, dogs, etc.) Everyone should bring their own drinks / coolers and a dessert to be shared with the group. Jamie will get everyone started on the rally and then head over to the park to start the grill and set up. If you do not want to participate in the Road Rally, you can go directly to the park.
This event is weather pending. If there is a threat of bad weather, we will make the decision the previous day by noon as to if we're running or not.
