SVTOA and Kenny Brown are coming back to Indiana in 2005 in a big way! For the past 4 years we have held our On-Track event at IRP but for 2005 we are pleased to announce that we will be running at Putman Park Raceway. Putman Park is located in Mount Meridian, IN and more information on the track can be found at www.putnampark.com . Putman Park is a safe track which offers a challenging 1.8 mile course with plenty of run off and is a favorite of many open track participants. We will be limiting this event to approx 60 participants and have scheduled 2 hours of track time per day per student so you’ll definitely get your moneys worth!
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL MAKES OF VEHICLES!!
Here are the details of the event:
Friday August 26:
- Meet and Greet at Kenny Brown (BBQ)
- Dyno Session (for those interested, limited availability with registration at KB)
- Talk (Kenny Brown himself, and possibly some Ford/SVT engineers)
Saturday August 27:
- On-Track (Times to follow)
- Banquet dinner (TBD)
Sunday August 28:
- On-Track (Times to follow)
General:
- A block of hotel room is on hold at the Holiday Inn Express, 1017 N. Main Street, Cloverdale IN 46120 (765.795.5050) The cost is $62.00/night (+ taxes)
- A 2005 Ford GT will be on hand, and possibly be available for rides (based upon past events)
- Ford will have a presence (Ford/SVT Engineers, as well as the SVT/SVTOA trailer will be present)
- SVTOA will provide instructors
- Participants will need to provide their own helmets; SVTOA will not be providing helmets
- Convertibles will be required to have 'roll over' protection (ie: Roll Bar).
Cost: $295.00 if registered by July 31; $325.00 thereafter. Saturday night banquet and dyno pulls extra (pricing TBD) Friday evening BBQ may be extra (not certain as of now but it may cost $5-$7 per person)
Registration for this event can be done online at www.driverregistration.com . After filling out a short profile you are can register for the event simply but selecting the event.
