Hey Rick,
Did you get any photos of the GT 500? Any engine photos?

Jym,

They would not open the hood. They gave some lame story on why they could not open the hood. I was dissipointed in what it looked like. I would have to say that the Roush looks better!

I`ve heard that the GT 500 will not come with the Ford GT Whipple SC, ...... rumors are it`s a Larger Eaton. I saw some pics and it seems to have changed a bit since the concept was introduced. Different hood scoops, different rear , no 20" wheels, no Shelby badges. I`m betting it will go through a few more changes.

Probably the Car was just a show piece, might of just had a 4.6GT engine.

I think it the end of an ERA with Coletti gone, were FORD will be looking to maximize the marketing potential created by the past SVT efforts.

We are already seeing the results: Cancel the lightning program, (does not sell as many as Mustangs), offer SVT cars through non SVT dealers, so you can penetrate the market better and maximize the results.

My advise, enjoy your current SVT, becuase I will be surprised if the new vehicles will be as nice.
