does anybody know or have any experience in driving on the new nitto nt555II's on a daily basis? Looking to put some new tires on the cobra and don't know if I should go with khumo's all around or nitto's on the front and road or drag radial on the rear. I want to drag and road race, so i'm a little unsure of the compounds of each tire. Some help would be appreciated. thanks:) :cbra:

I just put a set of the the 555r drags on my 96 cobra. I put then on all four corners and Im quite happy with the traction and feel. I do however understand that the 555IIr's have a stiffer side wall for road racing. However they only came in 275/40/17 when I ordered mine and I wanted more meat on the rear. As far as the Khumos go, Ive run a set of the R compounds on the track only. They stick like glue, but not really sure Id want them for every day.
