For the forth time this year, I found myself being air-deficient in one of my tires. This time, it was a known slow leak that sped up to the point where starting my drive to work with good tire pressure, yet when I got to work I had none.
I'd been driving with a check engine light for a few months, so I took it to the dealer again Friday, and decided to take advantage of the free rental (for my first time)... For the first time ever, they were done that day (funny how that works) except for needing me to overpay for a tire (dealer price $198). I decided I'd rather pay less and get a road hazard on the tire.
But I learned something new... You can actually buy road hazard coverage on tires you didn't buy at the tire store! My GOD I wish I'd known about this 4 tires ago! I replaced both rear tires and got road hazard coverage for my 2 front tires.
